24/7/365 Professional Monitoring
Your Live Life Alarm (also referred to as an ECD or Emergency Call Device) will be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days of the year by our professional call monitoring service. This service is designed to fulfill the required criteria set out by VAC to be an approved ECD, which is:
- Central monitoring systems that are connected directly to emergency response services such as ambulance and paramedics, fire, and police services. This service is usually restricted to large urban centers and is provided for a monthly fee.
- Voluntary systems activated by the user where emergency signals are monitored on a 24-hour basis every day of the year.
Capability Statement
The Live Life Alarm comes in pendant or watch form and enables Veterans to quickly receive the help they need in any emergency. The device has automatic fall detection and will text the wearers GPS location and then call our professional 24/7/365 call monitoring centre. The wearer can talk to the operator through the pendant or watch. The device works everywhere in Canada where there is mobile network coverage.
We pre-program each device so it is ready to be used out of the box. There are no monthly or annual fees payable by the wearer.
